Most of the rooms of the City Palace, Udaipur have been converted into a museum. The City Palace Museum was established way back in 1890 and is considered by many to be one of the earliest Rajasthan historical museums. Over a period of time more rooms of the palace were added to the museum. Some of the important places of interest in this museum are the outstanding mirror work of Moti Mahal, the central garden of the Bari Mahal, the beautiful peacock mosaics of Mor Chowk, the Radha-Krishna wall painting of Bhim vilas, and the Chini Mahal that is covered with beautiful ornament tiles.
