As the name suggest this museum, preserves the various folk arts of Rajasthan. Built in 1984, it is located on the banks of the scenic Gadsisar Lake in the sprawling Mehar Bagh Garden of Jaisalmer. The six sections of this museum are dedicated to various collections, which include, hairstyles, jewellery, paintings, traditional costumes, photographs, traditional items that are/were used in the rural life of Rajasthan, ornaments that are used to decorate camels and horse etc.
