In a stunning display of skill and determination, 15-year-old siblings Rakshith and Rakshitha Dave emerged victorious in their respective categories at the Idemitsu Honda India Talent Cup and the National Championship Girls (Stock 165cc) races. This triumph marked a memorable maiden win for both young racers, showcasing their potential in the competitive world of motorcycle racing.

Rakshitha Dave, starting from the second position on the grid, swiftly maneuvered into the lead by Turn-2, skillfully navigating through the pack to secure a commanding victory. Her race was characterized by strategic prowess and flawless execution, as she maintained a clear lead throughout, leaving no room for her competitors to challenge.

The success extended beyond the Dave twins, as the family celebrations were doubled with victories from another set of siblings. KY Ahamed, aged 28, triumphed in the Pro-Stock 165cc Open category, while his 17-year-old brother Abdul Basim clinched a win in the Novice 165cc class. These wins underscored the depth of talent and competitive spirit within their family, further elevating their stature in the racing community.

Earlier in the day, Abdul Basim showcased his racing mettle by holding off a determined challenge from Tasmai Cariappa of Mysuru’s Motul Sparks Racing. Despite a brief lead change in the penultimate lap, Basim expertly regained control and surged ahead to secure the top spot. Tasmai settled for second place, followed by Abhinav G from Coimbatore’s Chandra LGE Racing in third.

The day’s events not only highlighted the rising stars in Indian motorcycle racing but also set the stage for future competitions, where these young talents are expected to play pivotal roles.
