Hemis National Park includes 1,700 square miles of unblemished snow panther environment in the eastern piece of the Union Territory of Ladakh, in India. Authoritatively called the Hemis High-Altitude National Park, it is India’s biggest secured region and, furthermore, one of Asia’s biggest.
Hemis National Park was set up in 1981 under the Indian Wildlife Protection Act of 1972. With 4,400 square kilometres of the region, it is India’s most famous public park. With heights going somewhere in the range of 12,000 and 20,000 feet, the recreation centre falls inside a Palearctic ecozone arrangement, one of the eight biogeographic domains of the Earth. This zone is the biggest of the eight and stretches across North Africa and Eurasia north of the Himalayan lower regions.
